An Inspection includes :
In a nutshell, a home inspection will determine the condition of various aspects of a house at the time of the inspection. It will identify visually apparent irregularities resulting from normal deterioration, neglect, or a construction defect. It also allows you to plan the necessary repairs if the purchase becomes reality. Nelson Home Inspections’ mantra is “one day, one inspection”. We believe in taking the time in order to achieve the best quality of investigation, and detailed report.
Physical Inspection
Anywhere between 4 and 7 hours. The duration depends on many factors including the number of issues and the level of investigation needed.
Walk through
Because there is nothing like seeing it in person, at the end of the physical inspection, Iannick is available to show you the highlights of his inspection and answer all of your questions. If you are not available, Iannick will give you a call that same evening to chat about his main findings.
A detailed report
Filled with commented photos, renovation tips, and advice. It is usually written right after the physical inspection and delivered late that same evening.
Unlimited advice and consultation about the report
You may call Nelson Home Inspections even a year from the day you received your report! Iannick is always happy to give you further explanation or insight.
The mileage
Nelson Home Inspections will not charge any extra fee for the following locations in the West Kootenay Region: Ainsworth, Balfour, Castlegar, Fruitvale, Genelle, Hills, Kaslo, Nelson, New Denver, Rossland, Salmo, Silverton, Slocan, Trail, Warfield, Ymir, and any other towns or settlements in between. (Other settlements or towns such as Argenta, Boswell, Riondel, Crawford Bay, Gray Creek, Kootenay Bay, Nakusp, Wynndel, Christina Lake, and Creston are also served but for a reasonable extra fee.
