Our Story
Iannick was born and raised in Montreal, QC and moved to Whistler, BC in 1995 brought by his passion for big mountain snowboarding. After quickly exhausting his savings, he had to turn to a paid job to stay in BC and enjoy the incredible snow and high mountains. He was hired by a contractor as a labour but his bosses quickly saw Iannick’s potential and taught him everything about carpentry, woodwork and finishing. Iannick had then discovered another passion, for home building. He worked for renowned companies such as Dürfeld Log Construction and was also part of the crew who built the world famous Mushroom House. He then was self-employed for many years in Whistler and Pemberton.
In 2012, Iannick moved to Nelson with his snowboard and tools and worked for Local Contractor before obtaining his Home Inspection Training Diploma through Carson Dunlop, one of the more trusted Home Inspection schools in North America. He now lives in Taghum with his partner and child from where he also operates his home inspection business. Iannick still enjoys snowboarding and renovating his own heritage house in his spare time.
